Too often we focus just on one aspect which is the scale. We also need to be aware of all the 5 markers of good Metabolic health.

🌱waist circumference

🌱blood pressure

🌱cholesterol

🌱triglycerides

🌱blood sugar levels

When these are in check, what the scale says could start to move. It is also about what our clothes are telling us. I feel lighter and more comfortable when inflammation is lessened and the inches decrease.

To help to accomplish this, when the hormone GLP1 is activated in our gut, it sends a message to our brain that we are full, stay fuller longer, have less cravings. When our AMPK enzymes are activated, we begin to shrink fat cells. Who doesn’t want that?

I started on my Metabolic Makeover about 2 weeks ago. I am feeling lighter, brighter, and very motivated about my journey!

Last year I tried this shirt on that had been just hanging around the closet. It looked awful. I had gained a few pounds and it was very tight across my stomach, I had a muffin top and across the bra line had back fat.

Yesterday I saw the shirt again and hesitated to try it on. Since I was feeling so good, I did and was happy with it… no muffin top or back fat! Yes I have some more fat cells to shrink but I am on my way!
