Happy No Shave November!
Normally I have a beard coming in every morning. But that’s not happening since I started taking Transform. It’s totally not something I expected, but I am definitely appreciating!
I have battled hirsutism since my mid 30s, round about the time I was pregnant with my son and had gestational diabetes. (I’m 53…but don’t tell anyone.) Hirsutism is a symptom of insulin resistance and one of the many symptoms that makes women feel embarrassed. I know I have been! If I forgot to shave before leaving the house, I wanted to go straight home.
I started Transform September 25th excited about weight loss. It didn’t even dawn on me that I’d lose my beard and mustache! The longer I use Transform, the more benefits I’m discovering!
No guys, Transform won’t make you lose your facial hair. You’re SUPPOSED to have it, with a few exceptions. The reason women end up with facial hair is we produce testosterone when we get fat. Holding on to sugar and not being able to flush it out fast enough causes us to produce fat.
I knew that losing weight had the potential to help with my facial hair issue, but I assumed I would have to lose the weight first. I’m thrilled to report that even though the scale and I are still having our ups and downs, my facial hair is thinning, lightening, and slowing it’s roll!
