LONG POST ALERT
I was early 40’s when I started noticing the first symptoms – of insulin resistance.
I couldn’t stop craving sweet and salty snacks.
My belly and face bloat were transparent …. I started hiding under baggy clothes.
I thought I had no way out? I thought it was premenopause weight?
My physician ran multiple blood tests on me. Besides inflammation all over my body, I was Prediabetic too
I was told to get it under control with diet or I’d be on Metformin. My weight was already over the normal BMI range at the time, and I knew it would not get better unless I did something about it.
I had gained 40lbs without changing MUCH IN my DIET ?!?!
It was difficult to accept the change. The heaviness, lethargy and just overall exhaustion.
I was always out of energy – crashing, and wanting to take naps at random times during the day.
I was so uncomfortable with my body and other symptoms I stopped seeing people and my mental health was in the toilet .
I was miserable .
People weren’t saying anything straight to my face, but I knew what they were thinking, and that made me extremely anxious and sad.
I tried keto for a while, which seemed promising at first, but the fact that I had to restrict so many foods I loved was unbearable. I wasn’t used to depriving myself.
The same happened with a low-carb diet (I love my bread!).
I also tried counting calories. This led me to a month of eating at most 1,200 calories per day. That’s until I almost fainted in a parking lot next to my car . Starving was not going to work .
I’m sure these diets would’ve worked wonders for a healthy person, but they were doing nothing for me.
As if that was not enough, I started overeating like crazy because I was in a depression…. I lost control of my appetite and would binge on fast foods sabotaging my health even more.
I was literally addicted to SUGAR !
Fast forward to age 50 and my doctor wasn’t suggesting anything besides possible drug doses and “eating healthy” and getting more exercise .
I was tired of explaining that nothing was working for me.
Insert TRANONT at the age of 50 , I incorporated Glow collagen , and few other products and lost the 40 lbs I had gained .
I have managed to maintain the weight loss , but my Dr knew I was INSULIN RESISTANT ….. and it was a constant battle for me . She offered an injectable to help shed more weight …. I needed to get to a healthy BMI . I really didn’t want to go that route . The side effects and possibility of gaining back all the weight and the HUGE cost seemed overwhelming. I declined.
A few months ago I was told that we had a REVOLUTIONARY new product and I knew it was going to not only help me but millions of others …. IT COVERTED SUGAR TO FIBER AND WAS CALLED
I started on it in Sept and it’s done exactly what they told us it would – REGULATE MY GLUCOSE!!!
The plateau of my weight loss is now moving … I feel amazing … more energy , less cravings for sugar and no mid day sugar crashes!
I am so grateful for it ! And never want to run out
If you made it this far …. Thanks for reading my journey …..
